User Management Overview

User Management allows the district to add, edit, and/or delete Instructional Materials Management users accounts. District-level and campus-level users can be created. District users have view-switching privileges for all campuses. Campus users can be assigned to multiple campuses and are only allowed respective view-switching privileges.

There are two types of Instructional Materials Management users:

  • District users - Able to access the district side of the application with view-switching privileges to campus side of the application for each campus
  • Campus users - Able only to access the campus side of the application for the respective campus(es) they are assigned

There are two different permission groups a user can be assigned:

  • Administrator - Enables the user to remove items in the respective view and add more users
  • User - A reduced-functionality user group blocking access to the User Management page, the Closing page, and the ability to delete instructional materials

Item Description
District Users grid Displays all district-level users and their login credentials for the district view of Instructional Materials Management
Campus Users grid Displays all campus-level users and their login credentials for the campus view of Instructional Materials Management
Add add.png Adds a new user to Instructional Materials Management respective to the grid
Edit edit.png Allows user information to be updated
Delete delete.png Removes the user from Instructional Materials Management permanently (the username can never be used again)
Name Displays the employee/staff member's full name (first and last)
Username Displays the assigned name used to access Instructional Materials Management from the login screen
Password Displays the assigned word/phrase that must be used to gain access to Instructional Materials Management from the login screen (case sensitive)
Group Displays the assigned user category that decides the level of access the respective user has in Instructional Materials Management
Assigned Campus Displays the number of campuses district wide the user has permissions to access

Add User Window

Item Description
Name Required field for recording the staff member's full name (first and last)
Username Required field for recording the assigned name used to access Instructional Materials Management from the login screen
Password Required field for recording the assigned word/phrase that must be used to gain access to Instructional Materials Management from the login screen
Group Required field for recording the assigned user category (administrator or user) that decides the level of access the respective user has in Instructional Materials Management
Unassigned Campuses Displays a list of your district's campuses
Assigned Campuses Displays a list of the campuses the respective user will have permission to access
