District Preferences allows the customization of Instructional Materials Management to district-specific preferred procedures and policies.

Update Quick Entry Behaviors (Success Sound and Double Scanning)
Play Success Sound (default setting: checked) - If checked, Instructional Materials Management plays a success sound when a field is scanned with valid information.
- Click on Tools, found in the Navigation Bar.
- Click on District Preferences, located under "Global Tools” subcategory. This opens the "Preferences” page.
- Select the Quick Entry tab.
- Select Play Success Sound.
- Click on Save.
Force Double-Scanning of Accession for Validation in Quick Entry (default setting: unchecked) - If checked, requires the accession number field to be scanned twice to verify the second scan matches the first scan.
- Click on Tools, found in the Navigation Bar.
- Click on District Preferences, found under "Global Tools” subcategory. This opens the "Preferences” page.
- Select the Quick Entry tab.
- Select Force Double-Scanning of Accession for Validation in Quick Entry.
- Click on Save.
Update Quick Entry Field Limits
Quick Entry Field Limits (default settings for all fields in this section: minimum = 1 and maximum = 20) - Allows a minimum and maximum number of digits that can be scanned into the corresponding field within the "Quick Entry" screen.
- Click on Tools, found in the Navigation Bar.
- Click on District Preferences, found under "Global Tools” subcategory. This opens the "Preferences” page.
- Select the Quick Entry tab.
- Enter the desired minimum and maximum digit lengths into the respective fields.
- Click on Save.
