Archiving Graduating Students

After students have graduated or left the district, it is recommended that all records associated with those students are moved to an archived status. The following is step-by-step instructions for archiving students after graduation.

Who can use this feature?

  • Admin

Archiving students

  1. Choose Archive in the left-hand side navigation.
  2. Select "Students" from the Archive drop down.
  3. Filter students by sites or grades.
  4. Click the Go button and confirm the archive.

All students with no outstanding obligations or distributions will be set to 'inactive'.

Best Practices

Reconcile all outstanding balances or distributions of out-going students so they will not be part of the active student list at the beginning of the new year.
