Transfer Assets to a Different Site

Tags that are in a room with any status can be quickly transferred from multiple origin sites to a single destination through a Ship.gif Quick Transfer in the Tags grid. The following is a step-by-step process for transferring assets to a different site.

Who can use this feature?

  • Admin

Tags issued to a student or staff member cannot be included in a Quick Transfer.


Quick Transfer

The process of transferring assets to a different site will change the status of all tags in the transfer to the status chosen by the user and does not require each tag to be scanned.

  1. Filter for a specific data set in the Tags grid.
  2. Select the Quick Transfer action at the top of the Tags grid.
  3. Choose Site to Site, then select Create a New Transfer.
  4. Select the current location – site and room – of the assets.
  5. Select the destination – site and room – for the assets. 
  6. Choose a new status for the assets.
  7. Confirm the transfer.
  8. Print the transfer tickets.

Large quick transfer requests should be performed during times of low use of the application. This process cannot be undone. All Asset Management users across the district will lose access to the application until processing is complete.
