Creating an Application Reminder

Application reminders are messages or reminders that appear in the form of a pop-up window when a user signs into Instructional Materials Management. These messages can serve as reminders for upcoming audits, other inventory events, or just a friendly welcome.

Creating an Application Reminder

To create an application reminder, navigate to the following:

  1. Tools
  2. Global Tools
  3. District Preferences
  4. Application Notification (tab)

Complete the description field and enter the information in the text box. Save the reminder using the save icon.

The description will appear on the home page as a link to view the notification. The notification will automatically display for each user the next time they log into the application. After the user closes the notification, they can view it later via the Application Notification function.
