Containers are used in a warehouse to organize inventory and can hold tagged and/or untagged assets. Assets in containers take on the location and status of the container. The container can be considered as a permanent container in the warehouse, able to move from one room to another, or considered as temporary, only used once to transfer untagged items (assets) to another site.

Untagged items must be placed in a container. Tagged assets can be placed in a room or a container.
