Managing Untagged Items in a Container

Containers in the Warehouse hold untagged assets that are tracked by quantity rather than a unique asset tag number. A "Container" is always placed in a "Room" and allows the user to store and move untagged assets around the Warehouse and/or transfer them to a Site.

Remove an Item from a Container

  1. Click on inventory.png Containers, located in the top navigation bar.
  2. Search for the desired Container.
  3. Click on the container’s row to display the Inventory tab.
  4. Search for the desired Product.

Note:
  • Untagged items only exist in Containers. Therefore, if an untagged item is removed from a Container, it no longer exists in the Warehouse unless it is "Initialized" into a different container.
  • Tagged items removed from the Container are assigned to the same Room the container is currently located. The tagged item also retains the Container’s status.
