Running Containers Reports

The Containers grid in a warehouse-enabled site provides access to pre-configured reports in both .pdf and .csv format. These can be viewed/manipulated in a spreadsheet program (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).

In a Warehouse site, reports include all containers in the current warehouse, by default. To return a subset of data, the user is required to apply a filter to the records in the grid prior to running the report.

Barcode IDs

This PDF report provides a printable barcode representing the Container ID that can be scanned into any form within the Asset Management system. These barcodes are laid out to allow for easy printing to the Avery 5160 label sheet.

  1. On the top navigation bar in the Warehouse site, click container_24.png Containers.
  2. Above the blue grid header, click the Please Select Container Report drop-down menu.
  3. Under the PDF menu subcategory, select Barcode IDs to open the “View Report” window.
  4. Print or Save the report as desired.
  5. Close the View Report window to return to the Containers Grid.

Container Inventory Report

This PDF report provides a complete listing of all products in Containers. The report includes Container Number, Container Name, Container Type, Site Name, Date Printed, Product Name, Product Number, Manufacturer, Model, Product Type, Area, Price, Other 1, 2, & 3, SKU, Projected Life, Allow Untagged, Notes, Tag Count, Untagged Count, Total Count and Accessory detail fields.

  1. On the top navigation bar in the Warehouse site, click container_24.png Containers.
  2. Above the blue grid header, click the Please Select Container Report drop-down menu.
  3. Under the PDF menu subcategory, select Container Inventory Report to display the report.
  4. Print or Save the report as desired.
  5. Close the View Report window to return to the Containers Grid.

Container Listing

This CSV report provides a complete listing of all Containers in the current Warehouse. The report includes Container Number, Container Description, Container Type, Room Number, Weight, Value, Notes, and Received fields.

  1. Located on the top navigation bar in the Warehouse site, click container_24.png Containers.
  2. Above the blue grid header, click the Please Select Container Report drop-down menu.
  3. Under the Excel menu subcategory, select Container Inventory Report to download the report.
  4. When the message appears asking “Do you want to open or save ContainerListing.csv”, click Open to view the report in Microsoft Excel. If your browser does not prompt you to open the file, check your downloads folder.
