"Manufacturers" is a list of companies associated with the products in Asset Management, such as Dell, Apple, and Sony. The "Manufacturer" table provides a list of companies to which the products in the Catalog are associated.

Add a Manufacturer

1. Click on Catalog, located in the top navigation bar.
2. Click on Manufacturers under "Management Quick Links." The "Manage Manufacturers" window opens.
3. Click on Add Record.
4. Enter the name of the Manufacturer.
5. Click on Add.
6. Click on Close to close the "Manage Manufacturers" window.

Edit a Manufacturer

1. Click on Catalog, located in the top navigation bar.
2. Click on Manufacturers under "Management Quick Links." The "Manage Manufacturers" window opens.
3. Locate the Manufacturer.

If the manufacturer is not visible on the grid, search for the funding source using the search box under "Manufacturer" in the blue grid header.

4. Click on Edit next to the manufacturer’s name. The grid expands.
5. Update the information in the Manufacturer field.
6. Click on Update.
7. Click on  Close to close the "Manage Manufacturers" window.

Delete a Manufacturer

1. Click on Catalog, located in the top navigation bar.
2. Click on Manufacturers under "Management Quick Links." The "Manage Manufacturers" window opens.
3. Locate the Manufacturer.

If the manufacturer is not visible on the grid, search for the funding source using the search box under Manufacturer in the blue grid header.

4. Click on Delete under the Actions

If the manufacturer is assigned to a product, you will not be able to delete.

5. Click on  Close to close the "Manage Manufacturers" window.
