"Manufacturers" is a list of companies associated with the products in Asset Management, such as Dell, Apple, and Sony. The "Manufacturer" table provides a list of companies to which the products in the Catalog are associated.

Add a Manufacturer
- Click on Catalog, located in the top navigation bar.
- Click on Manufacturers under "Management Quick Links." The "Manage Manufacturers" window opens.
- Click on Add Record.
- Enter the name of the Manufacturer.
- Click on Add.
- Click on Close to close the "Manage Manufacturers" window.
Edit a Manufacturer
- Click on Catalog, located in the top navigation bar.
- Click on Manufacturers under "Management Quick Links." The "Manage Manufacturers" window opens.
- Locate the Manufacturer.
If the manufacturer is not visible on the grid, search for the funding source using the search box under "Manufacturer" in the blue grid header.
- Click on Edit next to the manufacturer’s name. The grid expands.
- Update the information in the Manufacturer field.
- Click on Update.
- Click on Close to close the "Manage Manufacturers" window.
Delete a Manufacturer
- Click on Catalog, located in the top navigation bar.
- Click on Manufacturers under "Management Quick Links." The "Manage Manufacturers" window opens.
- Locate the Manufacturer.
If the manufacturer is not visible on the grid, search for the funding source using the search box under Manufacturer in the blue grid header.
- Click on Delete under the Actions
If the manufacturer is assigned to a product, you will not be able to delete.
- Click on Close to close the "Manage Manufacturers" window.
