Special Considerations for Rooms in a Warehouse
Rooms may define spaces in big open areas when setting up your warehouse. It may simply be a pallet on the floor or an area where deliveries are placed prior to being unpacked and processed. Consider the layout of your space and an overall naming convention for rooms prior to creating them in Asset Management. Doing so helps keep things clear and organized moving forward.
It is beneficial when creating a "Room" to utilize all available fields to describe the "Room". This allows for clarity and helps distinguish the "Warehouse Room Types" from the standard "Site Room Types".
